In your life, there are so many things you can do but you need to be smart. There are laws that you have to abide by, and if you want to break those laws then you may have to pay for them. Arrest is the greatest penalty you might face. If your actions are not considered to be major, then you are likely to get home, but if you commit or are arrested on suspicion of committing a serious crime, you are going to jail.
If you have a lot of money, bailing won’t be a problem, but most people don’t easily have that amount of money at their disposal. If you don’t have the money and you can’t find a relative who has, then you have a bond with your best chance of bail. Like cash, the bail bond is issued as a guarantee you’ll appear in court. A bail agent will get you a bail bond. Generally, the agent would charge about 10 per cent of the value of the bond. The bail bond is a contract and someone will need you to co-sign the deal. The bail bond will be forfeited just like cash, if you do not appear in court. But the main difference is that if you surrender your bond, the person who co-signed the bond will still be responsible for paying off your bond.
